The Cerro del Molón is an archaeological site located on an elevation, protected as a Municipal Natural Park due to its historical and natural richness. An interpretation centre offers the visitor information for his visit.

El Molón is a high fortified settlement with three historical periods represented: the Iron Age (8th century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), the High Middle Ages (8th - 10th century A.D.) and the Civil War of 1936-1939. This archaeological site was continuously occupied from the end of the Bronze Age until the second half of the 1st century BC but was eventually abandoned during the Roman period. The main features are the defensive structures and the remains of a mosque, one of the oldest in the east.

The natural environment is protected and is the habitat of partridges, linnets, quails and wild cats.
